How do I access my email outside of IST?

This link is usually found in Internet Explorer under Favorites -> IST Links.

Your username is “user@net.ist.ucf.edu”

Your password will be the same you use to log in to a machine while physically at IST.

How do I get to the IST Timesheet webpage?

What software does the IST Help Desk provide?

We currently license the following software:

1) Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems (ex. Windows 7, Windows 8.1)

2) Microsoft Office

3) Microsoft Visio

4) Microsoft Visual Studio

5) Microsoft Project

6) McAfee Anti-Virus

7) Adobe Acrobat Pro.

The IST Help Desk can install these items on IST employee systems, lab computers, and conference room PCs. Users also have the ability to self install, from a list of availiable applications, through a program called Software Center

What are the password complexity requirements?

Cannot be based on the user's name.

Must contain at least eight characters.

Contains characters from three of the following four categories:

Uppercase alphabet characters (A-Z)

Lowercase alphabet characters (a-z)

Arabic numerals (0-9)

Non-Alphanumeric characters (for example, !@#,$%)
